Canton Police and Fire Aid in Search, Rescue of Missing Boston Man Sunday

A Boston man found in Canton was treated for hypothermia.

A missing, elderly Boston man was found on a Sunday morning and is being treated for hypothermia.

and responded to in Canton after a walker reported finding the elderly male, officials said.

"The scene was secured by the Canton Police Department, medical services were called and the call was then turned over to the State Police as the golf course falls under their jurisdiction," Canton Police Lt. said.

Canton Fire Chief Charles Doody said his department responded to the scene.

"We responded to the course and found a 90-year-old male who was in serious condition due to hypothermia," Doody said Sunday. "He was reported missing from Boston by his family. He was transported by Canton Fire ambulance to Norwood Hospital."
