Canton Police Log: Arrest Made, Breaking and Entering Reported

The following information was provided by the Canton Police Department daily log. Where an arrest was made, it does not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 1

2:09 p.m. - There was a dispute at the Hillside Pub on Royall Ave. Person was taken in to protective custody.

5:01 p.m. - A motor vehicle stop on Neponset Street. A motorist was driving with a suspended license and a registration that had been revoked. The vehicle was also uninsured. Police arrested a 56-year-old Easton man.

Nov. 2

12:13 p.m. - A report of breaking and entering at J N Phillips Auto Glass on Turnpike Street. Report to be filed.

1:06 p.m. - A report of breaking and entering at the Blue Hills Country Club on Pecunit Street.

Nov. 3

6:27 a.m. - Breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Bailey Court was reported.

Nov. 4

7:49 p.m. - Erratic driving of a motor vehicle outside of Centerfield's Restaurant at Forge Pond Village. Investigated.

Nov. 5

8:37 a.m. - A report of larceny/forgery and fraud on Sassamon Street and Washington Street.

Nov. 6

12:05 a.m. - Malicious damage was reported on Burns Ave. Services were rendered.

12:10 a.m. - A dispute occurred at the McDonald's Restaurant on Washington Street. Police responded and mediated.

11:06 a.m. - Larceny of a motor vehicle at YD Auto on Turnpike Street. Person did not have authority to drive motor vehicle. Report to be filed.

12:19 p.m. - There was a report of an unwanted person at the Canton Public Library. Services were rendered.

4:41 p.m. - A motor vehicle was stopped for driving an uninsured vehicle and the registration had been revoked. Report to be filed.

4:48 p.m. - Erratic operation of a motor vehicle on Washington Street and Dedham Street. Driver was spoken to.

Nov. 7

9:56 a.m. - There was malicious damage at Assist to Sell Real Estate on Washington Street. Report to be filed.
