Canton Police Log: Arrest for Marijuana Trafficking

A Brooklyn, New York man was arrested in Canton for trafficking almost $1 million dollars in marijuana.

Friday, Feb. 15

2:24 p.m. - Police arrested a Brooklyn, New York man for alleged marijuana trafficking. He is being held on $400,000 bail for accepting what is estimated to be close to $1 million dollars worth of marijuana.

5:50 p.m. - Larceny/forgery/fraud reported at the Village Toy Shoppe on Washington Street in Cobbs Corner.

Saturday, Feb. 16

9:18 p.m. - Wires were reported down at the Canton High School on Washington Street. Services were rendered to fix the problem.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

12:21 a.m. - The vehicle of a 22-year-old Randolph motorist was towed after he was stopped on Green Lodge Street and Turnpike Street with a lights violation, suspended registration, possession of Class D drugs and an unregistered motor vehicle.

8:31 a.m. - Larceny/forgery/fraud over $250 by false pretense was reported on Prospect Street.
