Canton Police Log: Canton Man charged with Assault and Battery

The following information was provided by the Canton Police Department daily log. Where an arrest was made, it does not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 27

10:07 a.m. - A report of larceny/forgery and fraud on Beverly Hill Road.

Nov. 28

3:41 p.m. - Breaking and entering in a home on York Street.

3:43 p.m. - A car was vandalized in the Shaw's Plaza parking lot on Washington Street.

Nov. 29

1:08 a.m. - There was a dispute on Windsor Woods Way.

12:40 p.m. - A report of larceny/forgery and fraud at Shaws Supermarket on Washington Street.

1:28 p.m. - A dispute at the Colonial Citgo on Turnpike Street.

Nov. 30

11:35 a.m. - Peace was restored after an unwanted person appeared at the Maintenance Products Co. on Turnpike Street.

12:35 p.m. - A 50 year old Canton man was charged with larceny for a check over $250. at the Schlossberg Funeral Home on Washington Street.

9:00 p.m. - A 35 year old Canton man was charged with assault and battery on a pregnant woman with a threat to commit a crime.

Dec. 1

11:29 a.m. - An arrest of a 58 year old Canton man who was charged with OUI after a motor vehicle accident on Neponset Street and Neponset Place. 

12:37 p.m. - A 55 year old Canton woman was charged with driving an unlicensed motor vehicle on Turnpike Street.

Dec. 2

4:26 a.m. - A 49 year old Mattapan man was arrested after an automobile accident involing a 28 year old Walpole man occured on Chapman Street. The 49 year old was charged with OUI liquor, driving with a suspended license, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. The 28 year old man was arrested for driving an unlicensed motor vehicle. 

12:08 p.m. - A 40 year old Canton man was arrested for assault on Mechanic Street.

3:09 p.m. - A 35 year old Canton man was arrested for driving an unlicensed motor vehicle at the Sunoco Gas Station on Neponset Street.
