Canton Police Log: Multiple Arrests for Assault, Drunk Driving

Also in this week's police log: A Roslindale man was charged with driving with a suspended license and a Dedham man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, among other arrests.

The following information was provided by the Canton Police daily log. Where an arrest was made, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, March 21

11:50 a.m. - A motor vehicle stop on Turnpike Street and Industrial Drive resulted in the arrest of a 33-year-old Roslindale man being charged with driving with a suspended license, his registration had been suspended and the vehicle had a lights violation.

11:14 p.m. - An assault on Turnpike Street resulted in the arrest of a 45-year-old Braintree man for assault and battery.

3:33 a.m. -  Police arrested a 25-year-old Dedham man on High Street for operating under the influence of liquor and destruction of property over $250.

Sunday, March 24

6:54 p.m. - A 47-year-old Canton man was charged with leaving the scene of an accident on Elm Street with property damage and a marked lanes violation.

Monday, March 25

5:01 p.m. - A 35-year-old Canton man was stopped on Dedham Street and was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and an expired inspection sticker.

8:37 p.m. - A 24-year-old Canton man was charged with driving an uninsured motor vehicle with a registration that had been revoked on Bolivar Street and Washington Street.
