Canton Police Make Drug Bust

After several months of investigating, Canton Police Detectives and Metro SWAT arrested Christopher Moy, 25, of Bayberry Road for narcotics distribution, Dec. 11, at 9 p.m. at his home.

Moy was arrested at the scene and currently facing six charges: (1) Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law (2) Possess with intent to Distribute Class B (3) Possess with intent to Distribute Class B (4) Possess with intent to Distribute Class E (5) Distribution of a Class B Substance and (6) Distribution of a Class E Substance.

Two firearms, including one that was loaded and unsecured, were found. Moy is not being charge with the firearms at this time as Canton Detectives are continuing their investigating into the weapons. He was held overnight at Canton Police Headquarters on $100,000 bail and arraigned at Stoughton District Court Thursday morning.

According to the Canton Police report, members of the SWAT entered the residence as Moy allegedly fled to the upstairs bathroom where he attempted to flush narcotics down the toilet. Detectives recovered quantities of Cocaine and Oxycodone and the guns.

Canton Police Chief Kenneth Berkowitz is commending the work of all of the detectives, especially Detective Glen Piro, who headed the investigation. He also commended Metro SWATT for doing an excellent job.
