Canton School, Police Officials to Discuss Lockdown Protocols Wednesday

An information session will be held tonight at 7 p.m.

School officials will be holding a parent information session on the Canton Public Schools lockdown procedures Wednesday night, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m. in the Canton High School cafeteria.

Canton Police Chief Ken Berkowitz and Detective Charles Yeaton from the Canton Police Department will join school officials in updating parents regarding ongoing enhancements to the district's current lockdown procedures.

The meeting is open to the public.

Discussions surrounding the program known as ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) have been ongoing and continued last month.
