Updated: MBTA Police Reporting Gunshot Victim Found Near Commuter Rail
MBTA Police report a gunshot victim found near the train tracks at Canton-Stoughton line.
The MBTA Police are reporting that a gunshot victim found near the train tracks of the Commuter Rail in Stoughton late Wednesday afternoon was transported to an area hospital.
"We can confirm it did not happen on T property," MBTA Spokeswoman Lydia Rivera said at 5 p.m. Wednesday "So it’s being handled by Stoughton Police now."
Reports are that the incident took place near the Stoughton-Canton line near the commuter rail tracks around Tosca Drive.

Executive Officer Robert Devine of the said that gunshot wound appeared to be self-inflicted, but that the incident is still under investigation.
