Minor School Bus Accident on Way to Galvin

A few students had a bumpier than usual ride to school yesterday morning.

The school bus they were traveling in to the Galvin was in a "minor fender bender," according to .

Only ten students were on the bus at the time, Canton Public Schools said.

"It was just a minor accident with a car pulling out of driveway and the bus," Granatino said. "Less than ten students were on the bus and no one was injured."

The Galvin students who had not been picked up yet had to be transported on a different school bus. "We made sure everyone's needs were met," Granatino said.

The students who were on the bus during the incident were met by the school nurse and staff to "make sure there were no lingering effects," he noted.
