Woman Killed in Route 95 Seven Car Crash

A woman was killed and two other critical injured in a seven car crash on Route 95 North Wednesday at 2:30 a.m., according to the Massachusetts State Police. The name of the victim and the drivers involved are not being released at this time. State police are continuing to investigate the case.

According to a myfoxboston.com., a car driven by a man  hit a guardrail, spinning around into oncoming traffic. State Police said three other collisions took place at the same time in a chain reaction. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Boston Medical Center and is in critical condition.

The woman who hit his car was taken to Norwood Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her passenger was hospitalized in critical condition with serious injuries, according to an Associated Press report.

The condition of the other drivers were unknown Wednesday morning.
