Canton 2013 Town Meeting Warrant Now Available
Today marks the deadline for submission of the Canton Finance Committee to draft a motion for employment contracts to Town Counsel. Town Meeting will take place on Monday, May 13.
Canton's Annual Town Meeting is just a little more than a month away, and to get residents prepared, officials have released the full Town Meeting warrant index.
The document, which can be viewed on the Canton town website or viewed as a PDF filed attached to this article, provides an overview of the 41 articles on this year's warrant.
Town Meeting will take place inside Morse Auditorium at Canton High School on Monday, May 13 at 7 p.m.

Important Dates Leading up to Town Meeting:
- Friday, April 5 – Deadline for submission of Finance Committee draft motion for employment contracts to Town Counsel.
- Friday, April 12 – Warrant with recommendations and motions to be sent to the printer for publication.
- Monday, April 29 – Warrant w/Finance Committee, Board of Selectmen, and Planning Board recommendations to be delivered to citizens by today (14 days prior to start of ATM).
- Monday, May 13 – First session of Annual Town Meeting, 7 p.m.
