Canton Congressman Sounds off on Syria

Capuano said President Obama must ask Congress' permission before using military force on Syria.

Capuano said President Obama must ask Congress’ permission before using military force on Syria.

“The use of military force is not a short-term thing,” Capuano told the Globe.  “It also opens up the issues of what happens to the rest of the region.

Capuano said he would be open to military involvement if he is satisfied the Assad government used chemical weapons.

“If it’s proven, I would listen to it,” he said to the Globe.
