REMINDER: Friday, Aug. 17 is Last Day to Register to Vote for State Primary Election

The Canton Town Clerk's Office will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday for voter registration. The state primary will be held September 6.

Residents looking to vote in the State Primary Election on Sept. 6 must register by Friday, Aug. 17.

The Town Clerk's Office will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday for voter registration.

Usually the office is open on the last day of voter registration until 8 p.m., but under Section 51 of Chapter 239 of the Acts of 2012, the State has changed the registration session until 5 p.m. (instead of 8 p.m.) due to the fact that most town halls are closed or are only open until noon on Fridays.
