St. John’s Fourth Grade Wraps Up Service Project in Song & Sweets

Students served treats to their friends at the Council on Aging and performed some classic American songs.

Today the 4th Graders from St. John’s School finished their year-long service project working with the Council on Aging.

Monthly the students brought treats, smiles, and bingo games to a small group of seniors. In December they brought some Christmas cheer with a holiday concert, cookies and hot chocolate.

To finish the year, they gathered for an afternoon of refreshments and entertainment. The students served lemonade, iced tea, and cookies, and they performed patriotic summer classics such as “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” “God Bless America, “ and “Casey at the Bat.”
