Greatest Challenge: Serving as president of the Senior Class is both exciting and challenging. In order to manage the time commitments of the position and focus on my school work, I need to be organized. I understand that my schoolwork is the priority but if I also want to do a good job as class president, which means managing the activities and requests of my classmates, I need to be organized and focused. I can’t let my school work slide or my parents will be very unhappy with me. So, I am learning how to juggle multiple activities. This is exciting because it will help me as I become employed to manage the many activities of my job.
What I like about my technical program: I am a member of the very first Engineering program. I like my technical program because it gives me theory and hands-on experience in my field of interest. Our teachers ensure that we are always doing something productive and that we are moving at a fast pace, which we will need to do when we become engineers. This program also challenges me to be well-organized and be on top of everything I need to accomplish.
Plans after High School: I plan to attend college and study mechanical or structural engineering. My top college of interest is Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). Other colleges of interest include MIT, UMASS Lowell/Amherst, Boston University, Northeastern University and Western New England University.
