Canton High Students Promoting Safe Holiday Season

CHS Students Against Destructive Decisions are promoting Tie One on for Safety.

The students at are wishing for a safe holiday season.

The CHS S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions) Chapter has made the commitment to endorse an important national campaign this holiday season. Tie One On For Safety calls for drivers to pledge to drive safely and soberly through the holiday season.

The students have displayed posters and have promoted their message through daily announcements. Students culminated their campaign by asking faculty and students to display a red ribbon on their car keys or their cars as a symbolic message to pledge to their family, friends and self the gift of life.

Their pledge is to not drink and drive, ride with an impaired driver, let their friends drive drunk and to always wear their seatbelt and make safe decisions.

S.A.D.D. has distributed red ribbons to faculty and students. Residents can pick up a ribbon at Town Hall, the Canton Public Library, police station, Crowell's Market, Dunkin' Donuts and other spots around town. Make the pledge today!
