The Canton Public Schools will be on an early dismissal schedule Thursday due to the snowstorm.
According to the National Weather Service, it is expected to snow all day with accumulation of about 4 to 8 inches of fresh snow.
Snow, freezing rain and sleet is expected after later Thursday. Wind gusts as high as 32 miles per hour are also expected, said the NWS.

The schools will follow a traditional early release schedule:
- High School - 10:30
- GMS - 11:00
- Rodman ECC - 11:30
- Hansen & JFK - 11:35
- Luce - 12:10
* There will be no half-day Pre-K or K in the afternoon and all afternoon and evening activities are canceled.
