Canton Students Participating in Neponset Valley Leadership Institute

NVCC's golf tournament will raise money for the Leadership Institute.

The NVCC is pleased to announce that the Neponset Valley Leadership Institute has been chosen to receive a donation from the proceeds of the Chamber’s 2011, on August 8, 2011.

Initiated by the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce Education Committee in 2002, the Neponset Valley Leadership Institute – Summer 2011, is a public school program run by The School to Careers Partnership. Entering junior and senior year, local high school students are nominated by their teachers, guidance counselors or principals by demonstrating leadership potential.

The students from Canton include, Hayley Reissfelder, Chynala Chin, David Feeney and Chris Murray.

By design, NVLI connects educational, public leaders and businesses in the Neponset Valley while developing our future workforce and every student attends on a full scholarship as part of their public school partnership.

The funds will help further the mission of the Leadership Institute in developing the community’s future leaders.
