Cyber-bullying – Internet Safety Workshop for Parents of Students K-12

This FREE "for parents/guardians only" workshop on Cyber-bullying and Internet Safety will take place on Wednesday, January 12th from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the Canton High School Auditorium. Sponsored by the Canton Bullying Prevention and Intervention Committee, this workshop is being offered to all Canton parents/guardians of students in grades K-12. Detective Chip Yeaton, along with members of the METROLEC (Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council) will address the following issues:

Parental awareness for online child predators

The dangers of children providing too much personal information online

Issues surrounding the use of social sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
