Melinda Barclay has been an administrative team member at MVPediatrics Health and Wellness Center for over two years. She first learned American Sign Language (ASL) as a small child when a neighborhood friend was learning sign to communicate because he was profoundly deaf. As Melinda grew older, she began to become involved in the Deaf Community, where she learned a wealth of knowledge.

Melinda went on to take four years of sign language, finishing in the top of her class with ASL teacher, Christine Evans, in the Whitman-Hanson School District. Ms. Evans made it her point to integrate students with the Deaf Community. Melinda went on to advance her signing skills at Northeastern University. Today, she continues to be involved in with Deaf Community through local churches, events, schools, charities and networking.
