Vacation Yoga Class
Sign the kids up for a yoga class during the upcoming school vacation, and find your own inner peace. Yoga instructor and favorite Sherry Herzog will offer yoga for children ages 3-8 on Thursday, December 29 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Armando Recreation Center. Register at 781-821-5030.

Wild at Art Winter Programs
If your kids are the artsy type, help them get creative during winter vacation with Mass Audubon’s Wild at Art programs. Offerings include pottery, photography, silk screening, winter games and more. Find more information here.

Boy Scout Tree Pickup
The tree looks beautiful now, but what to do with it when the holidays are over? Why, let the Boy Scouts of Troop 77 haul it away, of course. Minimum donation $10; contact cantontroop77@comcast.net for more information. Register by January 4, 2012 for pickup on January 7.

Blue Hills Sponsors Financial Aid and Information Night
Mark your calendars for Thursday, January 5, 2012, when will hold a financial aid and information night for anyone interested in learning about financing a college education. The event will be from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Blue Hills cafeteria; learn more and register here.  
 
CAPE Spelling Bee Fundraiser
The Canton Alliance for Public Education will hold its Sixth Annual Spelling Bee fundraiser on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Canton High School Auditorium. Student and adult teams will compete, and the money raised will help fund CAPE grants. More details to come.
