In order to qualify for consideration, students must be recommended by a guidance counselor or other school official, hold a minimum GPA of 3.0 and maintain good academic standing, have written approval from a parent or guardian, take placement examinations in reading, writing, and mathematics, place out of all developmental courses and meet all other course prerequisites.

Funding is limited for qualified students, and registrations are approved on a first come, first served basis by the college Dual Enrollment Coordinator. Students who are not funded may choose to pay for classes on their own.
