Canton Student Joins Gronk in Shaving His Head

Canton 11-year-old Griffin Lincoln got his head shaved alongside New England Patriots tight-end Rob Gronkowski Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

The student at the John F. Kennedy School student was the top child fundraiser for the entire One Mission's fourth annual “Kid’s Cancer Buzz-Off" event so he had the opportunity to get his head “buzzed” alongside Gronk. Lincoln raised upwards of $5,700, significantly contributing to the near $1 million raised overall at this year’s event.

At the event, football’s finest Rob Gronkowski joined 867 men, women and children in “buzzing” their heads in solidarity and support for those courageously fighting pediatric cancer, all to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital.
