Canton's Reebok, Classic Road Race Set to Return this Fall

It's been months since the Boston Marathon wrapped up but that doesn't mean there won't be a chance for runners in the Canton area to take on a road challenge.

Reebok Canton Road Race 

Returning to the streets of Canton this year will be the 8th Annual Reebok Canton Road Race on Saturday, Sept. 15. The event will be presented by the , and will take place at Reebok International LTD 1895 J.W. Foster Boulevard in Canton. Stephen Cesso, member of CABI, is this year's race director.

Those who wish to sign up can do so here. Those who sign up will receive an email confirmation, and a reminder two days before the race. 

Likewise, companies or organizations wishing to create and register a team can do so at CantonRoadRace.org.

Cost to Register:

• 5K or 10K Race - $30
• Student Race - $20
• Fun Run - $5

Schedule of Road Race:

• 8:30 a.m. - Kids 1-mile Fun Run
• 8:55 a.m. - Wheelchair Race
• 9 a.m. - 5K and 10K Race

The annual event raises money for Canton organizations, such as the Canton Police and Fire Departments, as well as the Massachusetts Hospital School, and the Canton Food Pantry.

Canton Fall Classic Road Race

Meanwhile, those who wish to wait for more crisp weather to hit the road can take part in the annual , set to take place on Sunday, Oct. 28. 

The event, now in its 24th year, will offer more than $2,400 in cash and merchandise prizes. 

Registration is now underway for the Fall Classic’s 10K and 5K competitive distances, and for the 1-Mile Fun Run. 

The race begins at 10 a.m., with the Fun Run at 9:45 a.m. at in Canton.

Registration is ongoing, and will cost $25 for the 10K and 5K races, while the Fun Run registration is only $10.
