7th Annual Canton Road Race Take Place October 1, 2011

Corporate Challenge 5k, Fitness Challenge 10k, Wheelchair 5k and Kids Fun Run to benefit the Canton Non-Profit Community

On Saturday, October 1, more than 1000 people are expected to lace up their sneakers and hit the road in the 7th annual Canton Road Race.  This family 5k/10k and Kids Fun Run will benefit the Canton non-profit community. 

Over the last 6 years, $250,000 has been raised in race proceeds and contributed to recipients such as Mass General Hospital, the Canton Food Bank, Canton Public Schools, elderly programs, the Canton Recreation Department, the Canton Police and Fire Departments, Clarke School for the Deaf, the Canton 4th of July celebration and many others.

This year’s race has been moved to a new venue at the Reebok World Headquarters in Canton, MA. The Wheelchair 5k, Corporate Challenge 5k and Fitness Challenge 10k will run through one of Canton’s most prestigious neighborhoods. The Kid’s Fun Run will take place on the Reebok track which runs through the uniquely designed Reebok building. The Reebok retail store will also be open with 25% off discounts available for participants. Post-race will be followed by a silent auction and raffle, food, fun and awards.
