Hansen Elementary School Launches 'Playground Pride' Fundraising
The Hansen CAPT (Canton Association for Parents and Teachers) is an organization run by the parents and teachers of the Hansen School.
The CAPT is working diligently toward a new and much needed playground. The current playground area has been repaired this summer to better meet the needs of the Hansen students.
The Hansen CAPT has now began their fundraising efforts to raise funds to construct a much needed second playground for the lower grade levels. The new playground construction will consist of equipment, multiple apparatus, installation, and ancillary materials for safety.
The fundraising goal for this new equipment is $60,000. The Hansen CAPT is looking to the community and local businesses to donate to this worthy cause and to bring the school one step closer to providing a safe, fun, and community-building environment for all of the children. There are various levels of sponsorship within this fundraising effort and all sponsors will be acknowledged for their contribution to the this project.
