Canton Mom a Finalist in “Angel Soft Lends Moms a Hand” Contest

From managing a household to full-time careers and volunteering in their free time, are constantly seeking balance in their every day lives. The makers of Angel Soft® bath tissue want to help moms find the ideal balance that their families depend on every day.

The makers of Angel Soft® bath tissue have created a program to help moms called “Angel Soft Lends Moms a Hand.” We are rewarding moms with a $1,500 gift card.

The Top 10 nominations have been chosen, and five finalist moms are Boston-area residents! One finalist is Canton resident Vannessa Kenefick a mom and volunteer at the .

Read her story below:

"Many say that their mom is the best person they know – and of course those saying it have a bias. I am no exception to that, and yet, I truly believe that my mom takes this loving yet hard-working attitude to a new level. For a woman who works full-time during the week at Computershare in Canton, MA, she also volunteers every Wednesday and works at the Massachusetts Hospital School on Saturdays and Sundays to assist children with special health care needs to ride horses and aide them in using horse-back riding as a therapeutic and fun activity. As if this weren’t enough, she manages to care for two high-school aged girls, take care of all of the paperwork and necessities it takes for me to remain at the University of Richmond, and just threw a welcome home BBQ for my eldest brother, a solider who just returned from Iraq. My mother is an amazing woman who spends what little free time she has participating in the National Charity League and making our home a place a family can prosper. After the death of my father three years ago, I can truly say, no woman is more remarkable than my mom."
