From now until August 26, anyone can visit www.classyawards.org to vote for the Top 25 Finalist of his or her choice. Visitors can cast one vote in each of the 12 different CLASSY Awards categories.

Over the past two weeks, a panel of judges narrowed a pool of hundreds of nominees down to just the Top 25 in each CLASSY Awards category. Fielding an incredibly strong set of nominations this year, only the very best progressed beyond the judging round. The public vote will now determine the Top 10 Finalists in each category; those finalists will be announced on August 30.

The Top 3 finalists with the most votes in each category will win free flights to San Diego for the Awards Ceremony on September 17 provided by Southwest Airlines, the official airline sponsor of the 3rd Annual CLASSY Awards.

The CLASSY Awards has become the largest philanthropic awards ceremony in the country, recognizing the most outstanding philanthropic achievements by charities, businesses and individuals nationwide. In 2010, more than 275,000 votes were cast for worthy CLASSY Awards participants and this year, StayClassy expects that number to grow exponentially.

Hollywood-Style Event, Philanthropy-Inspired

The 3rd Annual CLASSY Awards competition will culminate with a red-carpet awards ceremony on Saturday, September 17 in San Diego, California. It will feature celebrity appearances, chart-topping music talent, nonprofit and technology leaders, and thousands of CLASSY Awards supporters. In partnership with Qualcomm Incorporated and Bridgepoint Education, more than $150,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to support the charitable efforts of the 12 National CLASSY Awards Winners.

This year’s CLASSY Awards weekend will also feature the CLASSY Collaborative. A day-long casual networking event, the CLASSY Collaborative will give participants the opportunity to meet, mingle and exchange ideas with some of the foremost leaders in philanthropy, technology, and entertainment.
