The Canton Junction Sport Pub will hold beer pong on Thursday night.

Book Club

The Canton Public Library’s Friends with Books club will discuss Mr. Churchill’s Secretary by Susan Elia MacNeal at 7:30 p.m. in the library’s Community Room on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Ballroom Dancing 

On Friday the First Parish Unitarian Universalist in Canton will hold ballroom dancing for both singles and couples at 1508 Washington Street. Admission is $12.

Class Reunion

The Canton High School Class of 1953 will hold its 60th class reunion on Saturday, at 6 p.m. at the Hampton Inn in Norwood.  Interested guest are asked to call 781-344-2712.

Estate Sale

On Saturday, the United Church of Christ in Canton will hold an outdoor estate sale and indoor rummage sale at 1541 Washington Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wiffle Ball Tournament

The Canton Fire Department will be hosting its 1st annual Wiffleball Tourney on Saturday to benefit the Jimmy Fund. The community is invited to participate in the double elimination  tournament which begins at 10 a.m. at the lower baseball field at Canton High School on Sept. 28.

Weekend Programs At Blue Hills

10:30 a.m. Nature Tales: Read a book with us and meet a live animal.
1:30 p.m. Live Animal Presentation: Meet one of Trailside’s animal residents.

Local Farmers Markets

The Stoughton Farmers Market is back this Saturday, September 7, bringing fresh produce, baked goods, crafts and entertainment to downtown Stoughton. The Farmers Market will run every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Trackside Plaza (2 Canton Street) from June through October.

Crescent Ridge on Bay Road in Sharon also has a Farmers Market each Saturday from June through October from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
