Obituary: Alan Krepon

The service for Alan Krepon will take place at the Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel, Monday at noon.

  Alan Krepon died on May 13, 2013 of Canton. He was the loving father of Keith Krepon and his wife, Lynnanne of Brockton and Jill Krepon of Easton. He was Cherished grandfather of Lexi, dear brother of the late Sylvia Green and the loving Uncle to Mark, Cheryl and Diane.   Services will be held at Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel, 824 Washington St., Canton on Monday, May 20 at noon with interment at the Sharon Memorial Park.  Memorial observance will be at the home of Keith & Lynnanne following interment Monday from 4-9 p.m.   In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.

Canton Obituary: William E. Clark Sr.

Mr. Clark worked as a maintenance mechanic for the Grace Company in Canton for 25 years.

William E. Clark Sr., 79, a longtime resident of South Easton, died Tuesday, May 14, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Elizabeth G. (Hines) Clark. Born and raised in Stoughton, he was a graduate of St. Marys School in Stoughton and Boston Trade School. Mr. Clark was an Airman 2nd Class in the U.S. Air Force and a veteran of the Korean War. He was a maintenance mechanic for the Grace Company in Canton for 25 years before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed working in his yard, sports and spending time with his family. Canton Obituary: Lowell A. Ascher

Mr. Ascher is a former resident of Canton.

Lowell A. Ascher, of Hingham, formerly of Braintree and Canton, died April 25, 2013, at the age of 81. Lowell grew up in South Dakota. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he met his wife. He served in Korea during the Korean War. Later, he graduated from Northeastern University and the new couple decided to settle in this area and raise a family. Lowell worked as a sales engineer for Hewlett-Packard for 31 years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and spent many days fly fishing on the Cape Cod Canal. He was a longtime member of the Recreational Fishing Alliance. Lowell also enjoyed gardening, especially growing his own vegetables which all his neighbors were able to enjoy. Canton Obituary: Marjorie A. Bedard

Bedard taught biology at Canton High School for 30 years.

Marjorie A. Bedard passed away on April 24, 2013. She was born on November 17, 1939 in Boston, the daughter of the late Anna and Michael Donovan and sister of James. She was raised in West Roxbury and attended Blessed Sacrament in Jamaica Plain. Marjorie graduated from Regis College in 1961 with a degree in Biology. She then obtained her Masters degree from Tufts University. After graduate school, Marjorie began teaching Biology at Canton High School where she taught for 30 years. Always passionate about the sport of golf, she avidly played after retirement and was an active member of the Ladies-by-the-Sea Golf League in Chatham. Canton Obituary: John F. Doyle

Mr. Doyle lived in Canton for 49 years and was a veteran of the Korean War.

John F. Doyle age 82 of Canton passed away April 25th at the Epoch of Norton. Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston Schools and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a Foreman for the MBTA for over 20 years and retired in 2001. He has lived in Canton for 49 years where he was a member of the American Legion Post # 24. Beloved husband of Mildred I. Mr. O'Hara was a longtime Associated Press editor and sports writer, known for his coverage of the Boston Red Sox.

Kathleen M. Curry (Sweeney) of Canton, 57, registered nurse, died peacefully surrounded by her family on March 30, following a long courageous battle with liver disease. She was the daughter of the late Kathleen and George T. Sweeney of Milton. She is survived by her former husband, William J.
