Dunkin' Donuts Boosts Pumpkin Flavors for Fall

Pumpkin- and apple-flavored coffees and foods are now available, with more coming this October.

Canton-based Dunkin Donuts has launched a handful of seasonal food and beverage items featuring pumpkin and apple flavors.   Pumpkin K-Cups, "apple orchard" and pumpkin-flavored donuts and munchkins, "apple crisp" and pumpkin-flavored muffins, apple pie, apple cider, pumpkin-flavored cream cheese, as well as pumpkin-flavored and packaged coffees and lattes.  And it doesn't end there.  Patrons of Dunkin Donuts in Canton eager for a fall-themed coffee or treat this fall will have the chance to sample more pumpkin-flavored items coming to participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants beginning in October.  “Dunkin’ Donuts’ fall flavors serve as a hallmark of this nostalgic season, and the return of pumpkin and apple food and beverages is something…

A Frightful Storm is Brewing This Halloween Weekend, Canton

The fall snow storm will bring back the white stuff to Canton.

Some may call it a wicked trick. Others may call it a spook-tacular treat. Either way, get the shovels ready, because Canton will be getting hit by the fall snowstorm tonight. Although it is still autumn, and the leaves on the trees have barely changed colors, Canton is expected to get several inches of snow tonight. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for "heavy wet snow and strong winds" for Norfolk County and surrounding counties. The advisory is in effect from 6:00 p.m. tonight (Saturday) until 8:00 a.m. Sunday. The storm is expected to bring heavy, wet snow, two to four inches of powder, and strong wind gusts–the perfect recipe for downed lines, tree damage and power outages. PHOTO GALLERY: Canton High School Hosts WonderFall Craft Fair

Families came out to celebrate fall with hayrides, pumpkin decorating, face-painting, games, a bake sale and a craft fair with more than 30 vendors.

Canton High School hosted a "WonderFall" celebration on Saturday, October 1, with plenty of fun, fall activities for kids as well as a craft expo with countless goods for sale. Proceeds for the event will benefit Canton High School's Class of 2012.
