Canton Patch visited Barking Beauties at their new location on Jackson Street to ask the question of how often should we have our pets groomed. "I suggest you have your dog or cat groomed every six to eight weeks," said Jodi Noller, who has been with Barking Beauties for two years and owns three dogs. How often do you groom your pets and do you paint their toenails? Maybe you dress them up in outfits? Let us know in comments.

Barking Beauties, located at 635 Washinton St. in Canton, opened it's doors back in 2009. Owner Amy Deprisco has been an animal lover all of her life. She has a wonderful way with our four legged friends. "Grooming your cat or dog helps your pets stay clean and helps with shedding," Deprisco said. "It gets the dead hair and undercoat out that can cause matting and overheating. Our general maintenance includes getting their nails trimmed, ears cleaned and teeth brushed. We also check for fleas and ticks. When they leave here they not only look better but feel better." Today, Deprisco and her team had an assortment of cats and dogs.
