Summer Fun and Safety Fair in Canton

The Canton Board of Health organized a huge Summer Fun and Safety Fair at beautiful Pequitside Farm on Saturday.

Sponsored and organized by the Board of Health, many members of the Canton Fire Department and Canton Police Department also staffed information booths filled with critical summer safety information. Meanwhile, attendees were given equal parts fun to go along with the education, including the inflatable moonwalk, the petting zoo and the hay ride, which gave passengers a great overview of the beauty of Pequitside Farm. The Health Patch

A "Heart"y Valentine's Day

Shockingly, according to the American Heart Association, 90% of American women have at least one risk factor for developing heart disease.  Indeed, one out of three adults in the United States has high blood pressure, which increases the risk of heart attack and stroke.  Do you know your …

What a great idea- take your bottle to the dump day. Lol. Thankfully we have some regulation in our society for food safety, chemicals, etc but it is not up to the standards it should be. Americans assume b/c a product is on our shelf that it is safe and unfortunately that is not the case. I was appalled when. I came across cosmeticsafetydatabase.org and found that many ingredients in my "natural…   more ›
