Quinnipac Women's Hockey Looks to Lyons for Offense

Former Canton High standout Brittany Lyons is a senior forward for the Quinnipac University's women's ice hockey team.

  Former Canton High standout Brittany Lyons is in her senior year on the Quinnipac University women's ice hockey team. In the 10 games this year, Lyons has scored five goals and added an assist for six points. The 5-4-1 Bobcats are on the road Friday and Saturday at Union College and Rensselar. As a junior, Lyons appeared in 37 games with seven goals and seventh assists, while in her sophomore year, she had 12 goals and 10 assists for her forward spot. When she was a freshman, Lyons saw action in 32 games with four goals and five assists. At Canton High, Lyons set scoring records in ice hockey and lacrosse and then spent a post-graduate year at The Winchendon School.
