The annual plant sale for the Canton Garden Club will take place at the Canton Public Library on Saturday, May 11.
On Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the Canton Garden Club will host their annual plant sale at the Canton Public Library. Some of the featured plants this year that will be for sale are perennials, annuals, and herbs. There will also be beautiful potted plants and hanging plants. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer any of your gardening questions. Members working on the project this week are Garden Club members: Cheryl James, Roxy Gray, Marty Kramer, Loretta Connolly, Marilyn Gowing, Marilyn Curran and Peg Keady.

This event will be held at the Canton Public Library and is in conjunction with Brockton Hospital and Dr. Dan Muse, a Canton resident.
The Canton Fire Department, in conjunction with Brockton Hospital and Dr. Dan Muse of Canton, will present a sports injury clinic to Canton youth coaches and parents of Canton students and athletes at the Canton Public Library on Wednesday, April 4 from 6:30- 9 p.m. Muse and Dr. Ken Lawson, his emergency department colleague, will discuss concussion injuries and common sports injuries. The Canton Fire Department will provide an overview and hands on experience with CPR and defibrillator use. This class is free and open to the public.

On Saturday, Jan 18, the Canton Public Library has another night of music with their Open Book Coffee House. This weeks featured band is Occidental Gypsy who are pioneers in the sound of gypsy pop, high energy rythms of Gypsy melded with melodic hooks. Occidental Gypsy was formed by brothers Brett Feldman on lead guitar and Jeff Feldman on bass. The group is fronted by Berklee College of Music trained singer and rhythm guitarist, Scot Kulman and supported by two Berklee students Jacob Trasak on violin and Francisco Vielma on percussion. This gypsy pop band is known to interact with its fans and are charming and energetic entertainers who will be performing original material and some gysified covers.
