Kathleen M. Curry (Sweeney) of Canton, 57, registered nurse, died peacefully surrounded by her family on March 30, following a long courageous battle with liver disease. She was the daughter of the late Kathleen and George T. Sweeney of Milton. She is survived by her former husband, William J. Curry of Uxbridge, was the devoted mother of Kaitlyn Barry and her husband, Jay of North Easton, William P. Curry and his wife. Julianne, of Stoughton, and Patrick Curry of Canton, sister of George M. Sweeney of Colrain, Paul Sweeney of Norwell, Joseph Sweeney of Lafayette, Oregon, Timothy Sweeney of Vancouver, Washington, and the late Noreen Sweeney. Gildea passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 4; services will be held
Kathleen Gildea (Eastwood), 86, of Canton passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton, according to CurrentObituary.com. Gildea was born and raised in Andover, and attended Punchard High in Andover and Choate Memorial Nursing School in Woburn. In her life, she worked as a secretary in her husband’s Dental Office for several years, and was a former member of Catholic Charities, the Junior Guild of the Infant Savior, the League of St. Apollonia and a CCD Teacher at St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton, according to CurrentObituary. Daniel C. Callahan, 67 of Canton, passed away Sept. 3 at Beth Israel Hospital, according to a recent post on CurrentObituary.com. Beloved husband of Susan W. (Ward), Father of Joseph D. Callahan of S. Boston, Brother of Mary Ritchie and her husband Kenneth of Maine, Joan Lorina and her husband Anthony of Quincy and Paul Callahan and his wife Sandy of Abington. Born in Chelsea, Callahan was raised in Dorchester and attended St. Patrick’s School and Cathedral High School. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during the Vietnam War.
