'Operation Rodeo' Takes Down Alleged Boylston Street Cocaine Ring: Canton Connection

Prosecutors say JP's Boylston Street Gang had evolved into a high-level drug operation that was largely taken down Monday in a series of raids. Boston Police and FBI agents executed 16 search and seizure warrants in Boston, Canton and Milton on Monday morning. Fourteen arrests were made, including Rafael “Toribo” Vasquez, 28, of 33 Rockland St., Canton, and other charges may follow, prosecutors said in a statement. The raids, coming after 11 months of investigation, strike a blow at the Boylston Street gang. That group is perhaps best known in Jamaica Plain for its ongoing feud with the Mozart Street crew — bad blood that caused, among other violent incidents, the shootings and stabbings at Same Old Place in November 2010 that left three …

Canton Police Make Drug Bust, Confiscate Cocaine, Heroin and Gun

The Canton Police made an arrest, took drugs and a gun off the streets.

Canton Police busted several residents early Friday morning, confiscating drugs and a gun after an investigation. "It was an ongoing drug investigation which culminated in a search warrant served about 6:00 a.m. on Friday morning," Canton Police Lt. Helena Findlen said. "We were able to get a gun, cocaine, heroin and some pills," Findlen said of the Weathervane Road bust. On Friday, February 10, police arrested John R. Lozzi of Stoughton on charges of possession of a firearm without a FID card and possession to distribute a Class B drug. Police issued a court summons to the following: Ronald A. Canton Police Arrest Seven Residents on Drug Charges

Canton Police busted seven Canton residents on drug charges Thursday morning, resulting in several arrests, and netting cash, cocaine and other drugs. "It was an ongoing investigation that yielded approximately $10,000 in cash and an array of prescription meds, cocaine and marijuana," Canton Police Lt. Helena Findlen said. On Thursday at 9:20 a.m., police arrested seven people, all whom gave their address as 201 Arboretum Way in Canton.
