There are many different ways that donors can give to a worthy cause, because of technology and the creativity of charities. Whether you’re giving money, canned goods, used items or your time, the BBB Wise Giving Alliance reminds donors that how you give is just as important as what you give. According to the Giving USA Foundation, total estimated charitable giving in the United States rose 3.8 percent in 2010 (2.1 percent adjusted for inflation). Especially for Pets in Canton gives back to the community.
When you visit Especially for Pets' seventh and newest store in Canton's own Village Shoppes, be prepared to fall a little bit in love with Chaser, the handsome, magnetic Golden who belongs to Bonnie Chepovsky, the store's manager. "Everyone loves Chaser; he's famous," Chepovsky said. People know Chaser's schedule and are disappointed when he takes a day off from his duties at the store. This special pup is an important part of the shopping experience at Especially for Pets, and there's a lot more "feel good" going on here to back Chaser in his important role. A Stroke Support Group is meeting today in Stoughton at 3:30 p.m. for survivors and families. 3. Also in Stoughton, the Parkinson's Support Group is meeting at 2:00 p.m. 4. The Canton High School Boys Junior Varsity Ice Hockey team is playing Duxbury at 3:30 p.m. at Canton High. Go Bulldogs!
