Some things never change. Walk into the Neponset Café and you'll get it. You'll see how an unassuming tan building with a brick façade can survive for over half a century only to hit its peak 60 years and several generations after it got its start. "It's the people, the customers," said Don Titus, co-owner. "Old and young get along here." "Old and young" could be the restaurant's motto. When you walk in the narrow front door, you see a dark wood-paneled interior made darker by years of Marlboros and Pall Malls now banned in Canton eateries.
