Former Canton High players Colleen Moriarity and Erica Bornemann have earned Little East Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth Corsairs. A senior forward, Moriarity was honored for the week of Dec. 10. She averaged 21 points and nine rebounds per game as the Corsairs defeated Brandeis, Salve Regina and Plymouth State last week to improve to 7-1 overall. She scored 22 points and hit the winning basket with five seconds left in a 50-49 win against Brandeis, scored a season-high 26 points in a win at Salve Regina, and scored 15 S as the Corsairs won at LEC opponent Plymouth State. She made 51.7 per cent of her shots from the field, and added six steals and seven blocked shots. "…
