The National Weather Service says the morning commute should be affected.
Winter's timeout will end Wednesday morning. The National Weather Service in Taunton on Tuesday said 2 to 4 inches of snow are expected in Southeastern Massachusetts on Wednesday. The agency has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Wednesday in the area. Thus ends the January thaw. Temperatures in the 40s and 50s, approaching 60 some days, were recorded for much of the past week. The snow should slow the Wednesday morning commute, the weather service said.
