The dog, Smiley, is available for adoption at the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern New England.
Canton Patch found Park Ranger Alan Banks at the top of the Blue Hills Reservation Area recently walking Smiley, a blind dog who is available for adoption from the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern New England in Brockton. Smiley is an 8-year-old neutered male and has some challenges, but that doesn't stop him from loving life. He is blind, but gets around very well and learns his surroundings quickly. Smiley was brought to the shelter in September 2012. He's doing well and is ready for a home. He'll need a special home, as he suffers from separation anxiety. Someone who is home most of the time, or that can bring Smiley along when leaving the house would be ideal for him. Smiley loves other dogs but he cannot go to a home with cats…
