Canton Woman Removed from School, Stalked Theo Epstein

Canton resident Kathleen Kearney came unannounced to Holy Name on Jan. 10, while wearing a GPS monitoring bracelet.

  A female suspect from Canton who had to be removed from the Holy Name School in West Roxbury after showing up unannounced is also a suspect in stalking former Red Sox General Manager Theo Epstein. Holy Name School Principal Lynne Workman sent out an email about the incident, in which Kathleen Kearney, showed up unannounced, to discuss a volunteer librarian position. At some point she wandered off into the building, and school officials called 911 for Boston Police and medical help. She was found shortly after and no students were ever in danger. The incident was enough for Cook County authorities in Illinois to notify Epstein on Jan. 10 about Kearney's “location was unknown” and that “he would be informed when alerts have been cleared,” …

Canton Woman Arrested For Allegedly Stalking Theo Epstein

Kathleen Kearney of Canton was arrested in Chicago on Monday for allegedly stalking the former Boston Red Sox general manager.

Kathleen Kearney, 44 of Canton, was arrested Monday night near Theo Epstein’s home in Chicago and charged with stalking, according to boston.cbslocal.com. Kearney told police she was "inviting Mr. Epstein to go to church," reported the Chicago Tribune.  Kearney had been previously warned not to stalk Epstein.  Epstein is now President of Baseball Operations for the Chicago Cubs.
