Seniors enjoyed a pizza party and a visit from St. John's students in honor of Valentine's Day.
The Council on Aging hosted a Valentine's Day pizza party this Tuesday for seniors to socialize and celebrate the holiday with friends. The highlight of the day was a visit from first graders from St. John's who shared Valentine cards with the seniors.

Children made sweet treats and cards at the Village Toy Shop.
Children created Valentine's Day cards, decorated cookies and played during the Village Toy Shop's special Valentine's Day Party last week. Tots and tykes from around town came out to participate in the special-themed story and activity time in Cobb's Corner.

It’s about that time, parents–Valentine’s Day is almost upon us. Ah, yes the wondrous day is filled with candy hearts, chocolate, roses and Hallmark greeting cards filled with sweet sentiments. Maybe you will make dinner reservations at a nice restaurant with your significant other or maybe you will be tearing your hair out when your child shares with you at the last moment that you need to buy a couple dozen cheesy Valentine cards for him or her to pass out at school the very next day.
