Family Fun at Ward's Berry Farm

The 4H club at Ward's Berry Farm in neighboring Sharon has a flock of new animals to pet and visit.

Every spring, the Sunny Rock 4H club gets a whole lot busier. Based at Ward's Berry Farm in Sharon, Sunny Rock 4H maintains a fully functioning barn. The club is divided into smaller categories, with specialty clubs that focus on sheep, horses, rabbits, chicken and waterfowl and goats. This week was exceptionally busy because four of the ewes, or mother sheep, had babies. There are now over 16 babies frolicking in the Sunny Rock Sheep pen, munching on hay and clamoring for their mothers' attention. Kids can feed these friendly critters at the barn. Grain bags are available for sale in the barn at $1 per bag, and visitors can feed the goats and sheep with the same grain. The rare Nubian goats are proud parents to two babies this month. …
