ReplyIt can also be a great way for buyers to see many houses in one day if the schedule works out. But, buyers also need to remember that the agent at the open house represents the Sellers interests so need to be aware of protecting their own interests by not divulging too much information. In the ideal situation, buyers should bring their own agent with them to an open house.

ReplyMy guess is that some of it has to do with which particular homes sold in any given month - so as you said, some smaller homes sold in 2012 compared to 2011. And yes, prices are still recovering, but I would not call the market values depressed.
