ReplyI am eagerly awaiting the results of tomorrow's election. More for the fact that I am sick and tired of all this fighting. We all have our opinions. We all as parents want what is best for our children. I see what is best for mine as two new school committee members. Others may see it as more of the same that is there now. That is fine, that is why we vote. Good luck to all the candidates tomorrow and may the best women win.

I watched the debate and was liking Ms. Brown until she made that comment about Dr. Rizzi. She lost my vote there. Patricia MacNeil and Debra Cote will be getting my votes. I just hope the town agrees.

ReplyShut this club down please. It brings nothing but trouble to this town. "Devine said the club has acts which are attracting a lot of people from the city to the suburbs." Obviously these acts are not attracting good people into our town. Please, for the safety of all the people in our town, shut it down.

I thought the same thing when I read that DJ. Where can you get a window for under $250?

I think the FB page to start would be a good idea. Then we can see who is in and make contact from there.

I too agree that Dr. Rizzi has not proven her worth and does not deserve the salary she is making. I did attend the censure meeting. I am ashamed to say it was the first I did attend but am happy to say it will not be my last. I hope that more parents will attend. I also hope that more parents will learn the issues and head out to the polls next month. I have found Dr. Rizzi to be rude and dismissive any time that I have had dealings with her. I feel that she brushes aside the messy situations that she doesn't want to deal with. I agree with Robin when she states that a poll of parents and teachers would show that the town does not want her here. I have talked with many parents and teachers who who feel this way. In fact I can not think of a single parent or teacher that I have talked to that approves of her. Maybe it is time for the SC to start listening to us. If they won't in the meeting maybe they will when we go to the polls and vote them out.

ReplyCongrats to Coach Mark and all the athletes that won this award. Well done!!!! I remember all the wonderful experiences I had when Coach Mark was my coach in Field Hockey a very long time ago. He is one in a million and truly cares about his student athletes.
